TENDER PROCEDURE

Specification and Schedules of Work

The ‘Specification and Schedules of Work’ is the tender document prepared by us on behalf of Clients, and is issued to the builders for the purpose of obtaining selective tenders (offers from 3 or 4 pre-selected builders) for the proposed construction works.

This document, which is based on measured quantities is presented in both English and Greek, and clearly defines and identifies the:

• scope of works,
• Specification of materials to be used,
• cost of each element of the works,
• external (landscaping) works

A period of 3 weeks is usually allowed for the builders to prepare their tender.

The completed Form of Tender is returned directly to the Client, or the Architect/Engineer, and a completed copy of the priced Schedules of Work is returned to ourselves for checking.
