At this point, you should already be in possession of the ‘Preliminary Building Approval Certificate’.
You’re Architect will now complete the Detailed Design Drawings, and apply to the Local Municipal Building Department for a ‘Building Permit’.
The issuance of the Building Permit means that building works can now commence on site.
A Building Permit is valid for 4 years.
The cost of carrying out the necessary Studies to comply with building regulations and applying for the Building Permit, is approx. 4% of the build cost
