Welcome to Building in Crete!

I am an independent Building Cost Consultant based in Crete, who has worked closely with Architects, Engineers, Lawyers and Contractors in Crete since 1998. I provide professional independent advice and guidance to Client’s in all aspects of property construction and renovation costs.

These Notes are intended as guidance to those proposing to carry out anything between the construction of a new villa, through to the renovation of a tumbledown Venetian ruin, providing the works are to be undertaken:

1) through the appointment of a local Architect/Structural Engineer, and

2)  by a local builder

I do not get involved in ‘self-builds’ in which the Employer employs a number of independent Tradesmen, and supervises the works themselves.
